CPVC
Post-Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride from Charlotte Pipe Co
Post Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) is a pressure piping system superior in temperature rating and chemical resistance to Unplasticised Polyvinyl Chloride (UPVC).
It offers increased chemical resistance in applications where steel or fibreglass reinforced products are commonly used and often at a reduced cost.
Its smooth internal surface ensures limited build up of materials / scale from conveyed fluids during operations.
CPVC is widely used for water treatment, chemical processing and other similar industries / processes.
Benefits
- Suitable for highly corrosive materials.
- High temperature rating.
- High pressure rating.
- High burning resistance / self-extinguishing.
- Easy to use and install.
- Non corrosive.

Our CPVC Pipe & Fittings
We carry stock of CPVC Schedule 80 pipe, fittings, solvent cements, cleaners and accessories to help with installation.
What is CPVC Schedule 80?
A pipe’s “Schedule” is a reference to its wall thickness. A 2 inch schedule 80 pipe will have a smaller internal diameter than a 2 inch schedule 40 pipe. Therefore, the higher the schedule, the thicker the wall. The “Schedule” classification of pipe is used not only for PVC but also with other materials such as steel.
Why choose CPVC Schedule 80?
Schedule 80’s thick wall allows for pressure loads and suitability to harsh environments, making it commonly used in heavy duty commercial or industrial applications.
