Fusion has an extensive range of readiliy available, high quality HDPE welding equipment and more; including electrofusion welders and IR welding machines. Our range or hire equipment suits the majority of plastic welding applications has been tested and serviced to ISO9001 quality standards.

Electrofusion Welding Machine Hire

Electrofusion is a unique way to weld HDPE, PP or even PVDF making it simple to perform solid joins and quickly construct a piping system. Electrofusion fittings contain embedded heating coils and electrodes. An electrofusion welding machine connects to the electrodes and runs current through the coils to heat the surrounding plastic and create a join between fitting and pipe. Often it's possible to scan the fitting and the required weld settings are automatically added to the machine to ensure an error free, strong join.

Hire FAQ

Do you have day rates or weekly rates?

We have both daily and weekly rates depending on the machine and the duration of the hire.

What do I do if I have a problem or fault?

Fusion regularly services and calibrates our hire equipment to ensure optimal performance, however if you have an issue with a machine please contact us immediately to resolve the problem.

Does Fusion arrange delivery of hire equipment?

Fusion's hire rates are not inclusive of delivery. Our rates are for pickup and dropoff of equipment from the Fusion branch holding the equipment.

Do I have to clean equipment before returning it?

Yes, equipment should be returned in the same state as it was provided at the beginning of hire. If a machine has parts missing, is broken or not cleaned, Fusion reserves the right to charge fees depending on the condition. Please refer to Fusion's Terms and Conditions of Hire for more information.

When does the hire rate begin and end?

Fusion's hire rates begin from the arranged pickup time until the items are returned to the appropriate Fusion branch. More information can be found on our Terms and Conditions of Hire.
