Western Australia’s primary water utility, Water Corporation, required a custom indoor PVC bench, cabinet and sink for a seawater and brine sample room.
Because the room is continually exposed to moisture, salt-laden air and corrosive substances, conventional materials can deteriorate quickly. PVC was selected for its excellent resistance to corrosion, moisture, salts and many commonly used chemicals. Unlike metal, it will not rust, and its smooth, non-porous surface is easy to clean and maintain.
These properties make PVC particularly well suited to laboratories, sample-processing areas and other demanding environments. The completed installation provides Water Corporation with a durable, low-maintenance workspace designed for reliable, long-term use.
