Marine Tanks

Our fabrication teams manufacture tanks for water, wastewater and selected chemical services.

Fabricated tanks can be designed around confined spaces, access requirements and connection locations. Internal baffles, inspection openings, lifting points and custom nozzle arrangements can be incorporated where required.

Pontoons and floating structures

HDPE is well suited to many floating structures because it is buoyant, corrosion resistant and available in UV-stabilised grades.

Fusion can fabricate pontoons and other floating structures for recreational, commercial and marina applications. Designs can include decking supports, access points and project-specific fittings.

Project Example

Sewage tank for the STS Leeuwin II

Fusion designed and fabricated a replacement HDPE sewage storage tank for the STS Leeuwin II.

The design included an internal baffle, multiple flange connections and an access manhole. The tank wall thickness was increased to meet the design requirements and provide the required rigidity and service life.
