Reflective Ultrasonic Level Transmitters

Flowline Reflective Ultrasonic Level Meter
Flowline reflective ultrasonic non-contact liquid level instrumentation is ideally suited for corrosive, sticky or dirty liquids.

Condensation attenuates the acoustic signal of ultrasonic sensors with horizontal transducers, weakening their signal strength, and substantially reducing their measurement reliability. By orienting the transducer vertically, water droplets run off the transducer, and do not affect sensor performance.

The unimpeded transmit and receive signals are reflected to and from the liquid—thanks gravity.

Ultrasonic Level Transmitters

Flowline Ultrasonic Level Transmitter Echopod DL24
Flowline Ultrasonic level instrumentation is unaffected by liquid characteristics that cause contact sensing technologies to fail or require ongoing maintenance—these include corrosive, dirty, coating or scaling liquids. If you have an ambient application and require non-contact level measurement, then you want ultrasonic.

A Flowline Ultrasonic level sensor emits a sonic pulse from the base of the transducer. The pulse travels through the air gap, reflects against the liquid surface and returns to the transducer. The sensor then measures the pulse time-of-flight and translates this into the liquid level height.

Flowline Switch-Tek LU10 Ultrasonic Liquid Level Switch
Flowline manufacture a range of single and multi-point level switches in their range of level instruments to provide spill prevention, pump protection, leak detection and alarm solutions.

The Flowline Switch-Tek range can operate with mediums such as hydrochloric acid, acetone, diesel fuel oil (the Switch-Tek LU10 is an intrinsically safe level switch, more below), potable water, boric acid, sodium hypochlorite, wastewater, diluted caustic soda and copper sulphate.

Flowline DataView LI55 Level Controller
Flowline manufacture a range of controllers and indicators to suit general purpose, intrinsically safe or explosion proof 1 installation requirements.

For general purpose installations the Flowline DataView LI55 level controller provides display and control capabilities via a 6-digit LED. For installations utilising a Flowline EchoPod Ultrasonic Level Transmitter, the Flowline LI40 can provide level indication with simple installation.

For intrinsically safe applications utilising a Flowline Level Transmitter with a 4-20mA output, choose the Flowline DataLoop LI25.

For level instrumentation devices compatible with the Flowline WebCal Software. Using the FOB USB, easily configure and test compatible Flowline level sensors to your measurement and control requirements.
